Lesson Plans
At Boys' Latin School, peer education lessons are presented to
the sixth grade and ninth grade students.
The sixth grade curriculum consists of nine lessons presented over
the course of the spring semester. One peer educator team (consisting
of three students) is scheduled to present a lesson in one class
meeting of one of the sixth grade subjects during a week. This keeps
the groups small and prevents repetition. The specific lessons that
are presented have been created by the faculty team or are from
the Teenage Health Teaching Modules (THTM). For information on THTM
curriculum, please click here.
The ninth grade curriculum consists of two lessons that have been
created by the faculty team. The lessons are presented during a
special assembly time in the Upper School so that the peer educators
do not miss too much class time.
